Where firefighters come to talk training

This a photo that was sent to me a few months ago and I just recently came across it again.  I've never seen this before, but there are some obvious challenges.  What do you think and what are some of those challenges?

The question I would first ask is what type of glass is it? It also looks like it is all tied together. I believe I would treat it as a truss..once one section fails the rest may fail as well. Having this identifed in pre-plans and ensuring alternate routes for operations and egress would be a good start to this scenario.

 

As Mr. Huston states, I would definately treat it as a truss. Another problem I see is the use of TICs creating false images, along with any tolls / couplings / hose streams breaking the glass

 

To add another thought , The glass is going to be extremely slippery ,even if still functional for overhaul ,
