WELCOME:
Thanks for visiting my Fire Engineering Training Community Web Page.
I have spent many years in the fire service and believe strongly in the PROPER EDUCATION of Firefighters.
Across the United States, initial firefighter training varies drastically and often FAILS to meet the Nationally Recognized Minimum Firefighter Training Standards as outlined in NFPA 1001, 2008 edition. Fire Departments in almost every state are putting undertrained Firefighters on the front lines and first due apparatus without the proper training.
Each year there have be countless documented LODD and Injuries do to this catastrophic failure to simply require that ALL Firefighters meet the Nationally Recognized Training Standard of NFPA 1001, 2008 Edition.
I also Support the Concept of Minimum Qualifications and Training Standards for ALL Chiefs and Line Officers.
If anyone is in need of training concepts, research and development of training programs, or training in general, I gladly offer my assistance, and am willing to share what I have and what I have learned.
Stay Low, Stay Safe, and Stay Alive.
