hi.. im michael tan from the philippines. Were a volunteer group here in the visayas. specificaly in Cebu city. We are not connected with our government. We buy our own gear and we, same as volunteers around the world are not paid. And as you know philippines dont make our own fire equipment. We buy it from the US. which is quite expensive for us. And now i saw this article in firehouse.com about minnesota fire department is donating old or used gears here in the philippines., here we use ordinary rain coats , construction helmets, and rubber boots to fight fire and we dont have scba. thank God we have a few LODD here. hehe anyway hope someone can help it can make a big diffrnce for us in helping our community. this is my email mct773i@yahoo.com and my friendster account. u can see pictures there to :D thanx God bless :D
