Eyes Wide Shut

As the shift commander becoming self-aware of the culture that you have allowed to geminate is the hardest pill to swallow in the fire service. I don't claim any expretise in any given subject matter, I encourage young padawans to listen, learn, read, and gain as much knowledge as they can from taking additional classes, listening to podcasts, and learning from experienced smoke eaters about the job.
Bio:
Started my adventure with attending vocational school for Fire and EMS, I have grown in experience and knowledge since then. First volunteered for York TWP ,a small department in Athens County, Oh. Then moved to NW Ohio a few years later and spent five years at Ridgeville TWP FD, in Henry County Ohio. Currently residing in Archbold Ohio, Part-time on call FF/ AEMT for Archbold/ German TWP FD since 2011. Part-time with City of Bryan Fire. Full time FF/ AEMT with the City of Wauseon FD. I have been blessed to have worked with some of the greatest leaders in those departments over the last 19 years. I continue to share the knowledge of the job with every class and rookie that will open their minds to change and forward progress.
