thanks guys. i have a few arguing the fact of the fog for exposure protection vs. doing damage to the exposure with the straight tips. We run tips on our rig, but some think the fog is the desirable tip. I feel that radiant heat will penetrate the...

Can you clarify what a Wagon Pipe Nozzle is to us folks out in the West? If it is an elevated Master Stream that is fixed to the top of your Engine, than yes we do. Salt Lake uses stacked tips ranging from 2" to 1 1/8". It could be smaller I am no...

Hey Jim, I have to start checking this site more often sorry about getting back to you. Hanging around Hardin and Summey at FDIC, like always lot's of fun. Lot's of talk about cutbacks and crap but right now that's all it is. We cancelled a class in Jan, when added to Retirements puts us down a few hundred guys. Apparatus still falling apart, companies riding around in brush trucks and pick up trucks so it's just like they're out of service, used mostly for manpower. Right now it's a wait and see attitude. weather finally warming up in the 80's the last 2 days but falling back to the 50's tomorrow. Business has been kind of slow on our group, lot's of small stuff but by the time we roll in the other companies have it taken care of. Take Care of yourself, say hey to the boys and I'll holler at you soon.

Hey Jim,
Sorry about I took so long to get back to you. 4 alarm fire in 3 story wood frame, 6 family. One company got caught in basement when fire got behind them. Mayday transmitted but all members got out ok. One other member from different company to hospital for heat exhaustion and another for a broken wrist. Still trying to find out details on mayday. indy was awesome. Had great time with Hardin & Summey. That was my first time and it was well worth it. Not sure if I can make Baltimore just yet. Bro I need your address, I want to send you a Tshirt, so when you get a chance pass it this way. Holler at Wes and Dustin for me and I'll talk to you, I mean holler at you later.
