Graduate of University of Alaska. NFA Alumni. Trustee for Ilisagvik College, a locally controlled tribal college on the North Slope, including 7 years as Board President. Involved in emergency services for approximately 29 years, 17 as a volunteer. Active instructor, including speaker at FDIC West. Father of two wonderful daughters and grandfather of two of the most beautiful grandkids in the world. Continue to take classes, telling children that I some day hope to know something.

No sir. I was with a now-defunct group north of Hilltop. We were trying to get a department fully formed and recognized, but some things happened and it never materialized. A shame too, as it would have been a good thing for the area.

Sounds like a unique challenge. I understand sub-zero firefighting well. I lived in Fairbanks for almost 5 years. I miss it, and have been gone from up there almost 4 years now.
