I began my career in 1995 as a Jr. FF w/ a combo dept in Jefferson county, MO where I grew up. I worked through the ranks to a sr. FF/operator, obtained my education from Jefferson College in Hillsboro. Continued volunteering while working pt as an EMT on ALS ambulance until being hired by my current employer. Have been on the job here since end of 03' and was promoted to rank of Capt in March of 08'.

Eric, Thanks for the information on leather helmets Brother. I really appreciate it. I did a reply and included the language used by a neighboring department on the use of leather helmets. Hope that helps if you decide to pursue getting something in writing. Take care, Scott
