From the perspective of firefighter safety it appears that the fire has already vented the roof and therefore begs the question, "Why is there a company on the roof venting?"
It also appears, from the very limited perspective of the video, that the interior is very tenable and capable of supporting an attack into the attic space by companies operating with a 2.5 and some hooks to open up the attic space from below.
The appropriate position of the 2.5 in an attached garage fire is from the interior from the occupancy side.
Despite the dynamic fuels possibly involved in the fire the small video clip video does not show aggressive fire conditions.
If dramatic fire conditions were encountered then portable master streams have been considered. It is interesting to see the line, looks like an 1.75, operating from the exterior.

I was told they had a lot of fuel used in car repairs..it smelled like a flammable or combustible liquid...more than just gas..racing fuel or ethanol ,maybe??
