Evansville Indiana northside residential fire

Evansville Indiana firefighters found a fire on the near north side had rapidly escalated to the entire second floor of the dwelling upon their arrival. Exposures were threatened severely due to the close proximity of this particular neighborhood. Initial operations were protecting the exposures and evacuating the people from adjacent residences. The fire was a defensive operation due to previous fires at this particular dwelling. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
