Where firefighters come to talk training

Kevin Shea began his fire service career with the Fire Department of New York in 1984. He served in Engine 227 in Brooklyn, Ladder 108 in Brooklyn, and Rescue 1 in Manhattan.

His dad was an FDNY firefighter as well as an avid fisherman, as were many of the firefighters in the firehouses he worked in. Fishing trips were a big part of the fire department tradition he grew up with. Shea took up hunting after his retirement in 2000 and then took up traditional bowhunting in 2004, and it has become his passion.
