Where firefighters come to talk training

This fire occurred Christmas morning and involved some kind of rendering facility from what I could see. The RR tank cars were loaded with animal fat products, and there was some refrigeration and therefore amonia storage on site. This building was interconnected by pipelines to other buildings in the complex. It was reportedly fully involved and defensive from the start. This was also a level 1 haz mat.

The spare tower is 39, and it was quite cold and icy

E252 is strictly a shop number...E is trucks...D Prefix is engines..I think it looks really stupid but that's fleet for ya!!!

Steve,

I have to ask, why does that older truck in the opening pic, say E252 on the side? Usually "E" indicating Engine, I'm just curious as to the reason. Great video, and I hope you have warmed up since then brother.
