Areas of expertise:
I don't think I will ever be an expert, but I learn more every day. The more I know, the safer my crew and I will be.
I have been a second generation firefighter for 12 years. I joined the Beechwood Vol. Fire Dept. in Beechwood, WI in 1996. I served as a Firefighter moving up to HEO until moving to the village of Kewaskum. I have been a member of Kewaskum Fire and Rescue since 2004. I served as a Firefighter/EMTB until promotion to 2nd Lt in December 2008. Since that time I have promoted through the fire prevention bureau as 1st Lt, then promoted to 2nd Capt in the training bureau. EMS level upgraded to AEMT. Joined the Washington County Dive recovery team with PADI certifications of Advanced open water, Night, Ice, Dry Suit, Rescue diver.
Welcome to the world's greatest training site. This is where the serious trainers come to train & learn from each other. Please allow me to invite you to the group called "HAZMAT PLACARDS TO SUCCESS". This group is for the firefighter, the EMA officer, and the HazMat Technician. I would love to hear what you have to say. This is a great time to join the group as our main focus is currently the first stages of the HazMat Incident.
We are excited to have you participate in our discussions and interactive forums. Before you begin posting, please take a moment to read our policy page. -- Bobby Halton
