Top issues in your department:: Man Power we are a growing area but they seem to fail to want to increase our staffing or build us new stations. The stations we run out of now are from the 1920's to 1950's and they can't handle the size of the new equipment trucks and etc. They think we can grow population wise and building wise but keep the staffing at the 1970's and 80's era.

Bio:: I am a 16 year Fire Service Veteran. I have been around fire departments all my life. My dad was a firefighter for 20 years on a combination department and my cousin was a firefighter on the same department for 21 years and my cousin is now one of our Deputy State Fire Marshalls in Idaho. I spent every chance I had at the fire house and with the guys. My entire life alls I wanted to be is a firefighter and thats what happen. I do have to say there is no better job in the h*** world than to be a firefighter.
