February 2001 to Present
Federal Program Consultant for the Office for State and Local Government Coordination and Preparedness.

Make recommendations to the Director of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program and the staff on direction and/or focus of all grants associated with the AFG Program Office.
Serve as project leader for Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grants.
Analyze the 2005 SAFER Grant and make recommendations for enhancement for Grant Program Office administration.
Develop recommendations and support the direction of the expansion, planning, and monitoring of the Fire Act program, the SAFER Grant, and Fire Prevention, Safety, and Research grant.
Serve as a subject matter specialist on fire related topics to consult and advise program office personnel on for department processes, procedures and practices as they relates to grants management.
Serve as project leader to develop constituent training and marketing tools, including web-based tutorials, PowerPoint presentations, and other mediums.
