Previous Experience:
1998-2022 Brazos County Precinct 3 Volunteer Fire Department. In April 1998 I walked into the old firehouse in Steep Hollow and began a nearly 25 year run as first responder, firefighter, training captain, fire chief, and assistant chief (21 years as a fire officer). Continued throughout that time as EMS first responder, firefighter, and instructor until December 31, 2022. During my tenure we were blessed with a great team and unparalleled citizen support that allowed us to deliver modern technology, great training, and quality equipment to a community fire department that was built on a solid foundation of good values and people. Were able to prepare a generation to be the best volunteers, and to excel in their career fields. We successfully deployed well trained and equipped responders locally and regionally in support of our citizens and sister agencies for 25 years.
