We're working towards a decison making group for the fire ground. Being consistant in the training of a deot is difficult, we see it too.
Welcome to the firefighters research group. I hope we will begin to research the topics that are important to the fire service and create a library of information
Hi John. Thanks for joining the group!
For the past 8 years I have been researching different methods of breathing with SCBA. My interest started after I ran out of air myself. Fortunately for me the outcome was only a good scare. When I started my research about air management, I was surprised to find out that there was no teachings on how to breathe with SCBA.
Since then I have developed a breathing technique of my own, and the process to evaluate what technique works best for the individual. shoot me an email at kevin@firefightersafety.net and I'll be happy to give you any info I have on the subject.
Maybe together we can come up with some good content for the group.
I just wondered, because our town is full of Haz Mat Techs. The police, Fire, water treatment, city services...etc. I guess since we are neighbors will O.L.D we would want alot of Techs between our city and the big dump h*** north of use. There are 7 of our firemen on the Sansuky County Haz Mat Team as well.
No Sir! I never to admitt toknowing the Police... I try to stay out of Trouble....lol !!!!!!!!!
