Hey Brother.

You wouldn't happen to know a big guy named Ron Rolfe would you? Tell him Jim Hester from OKC said hello.

Our next class is in November. Keep an eye on our website for details. There is a mandatory qualification test that includes 50 question FFI written test and 6 stations of Obstacle Course type evaluation including pull ups, pike pole pull, hose hoist, stair climb, victim drag and 1.5 mile run. All activities are scored and have minimums in order to get in the class. Out of state spots are no exception. The test for out of state candidates is Saturday before class on Sunday so you want to make sure you are prepared. The actual activities and description get posted on our site just before we have the local try outs. They are actually competing against each other for a spot in the class. The top 28 get in and we reserve 4 spots for out of state applicants. You would not be competing to get in but you do have to meet the minimums.

Welcome Mike. Is there a Smoke Diver course in Connecticut? If so let us know about. If not you might consider a trip down south for the ultimate training experience.
