I want to take this time to personnally thank the fire service brotherhood. It is amazing how many phone calls, emails, text messages, facebook messages and comments that I received during our recent flooding disaster and firefighter death. It was so amazing what these messages did for the Horry County fire rescue Department and me personnally. The friendship, compasion and support shown is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
We are returning to normal and expect the river flood waters to be back into the banks of the Waccamaw River over the weekend if we are lucky. Please continue to pray for the folks who have lost everything in this epic flood. It is very sad to see the devistartion. I commend the efforts of the personnel of Horry County who spent countless ours in rescue mode wet, tired and cold. I am humbled to serve with such great professionals.
So to everyone who called, emailed, sent text messages, facebook messages and comments...Thank You!!!!!!!!!!
