Extrication "Quick Tip" #17 (Fuel Line Pinch)

This weeks "Quick Tip" is covering a quick method to mitigate fuel line issues. Some methods such as tunneling and  "through the floor" may require fuel lines to be cut. On many heavily damaged vehicles the fuel lines may be also damaged or compromised. Simply pinching the fuel line with spreader tips will work to quickly stop a damaged line or pinching on each side of a line prior to cutting will greatly reduced the amount of fuel lost. This method is just another option to put in your extrication tool box.
