Lifeguard Operation & Management Course
April 25, 2010
National Drowning Prevention Alliance Symposium
Sheraton at Station Square
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

This intensive 3-hour classroom-formatted program is intended for Lifeguards; Lifeguard Instructors and Supervisors; Aquatic Facility Managers and Operators; Aquatic and Recreation Professionals; and Public Safety and Rescue Personnel responsible for drowning and aquatic injury prevention, management, and/or investigations. This fast-paced program focuses on the prevention, recognition, and management of drowning and aquatic injuries and presents numerous principles, considered to be the industry's standard of care. Each principle is reinforced with a videoclip of an actual incident or news story about that incident. This program was developed by Lifesaving Resources Inc. and will be conducted by Gerald Dworkin, a professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant.
