Swiftwater Rescue Technician Course

This fast-paced and intensive two-day training program is designed to provide Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel with the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively respond to incidents in, on, and around the water, including static and moving water environments. This curriculum meets and exceeds NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue. Day 1 includes 4-hours classroom and 4-hours in-water practical session conducted in a static water environment. Day 2 includes 2-hours classroom and 6-hours in-water practical session conducted in a moving water environment. Tuition includes lunch Saturday and Sunday, books and materials. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded with a Swiftwater Rescue Technician Certification and Insignia valid for 5 years from the course completion date.
