Learning from Tragedy Lesson One Preparation

This Monday, December 8th. an F/A-18D returning to Miramar Naval Air station from the USS Abraham Lincoln off the coast of San Diego encountered some type of engine problem forcing the pilot to eject seconds before the jet slammed into a neighborhood just outside the airbase.
