Appointed Emergency Manager to the Town and Village of Orchard Park to perform emergency response, mitigation planning. Twenty Five years as a Volunteer Firefighter presently, serving as Chief of the Windom Company and Chief of Training for the Orchard Park Fire District. Certifications in NIMS up to the 400 level, New York State certified Hazardous Materials Incident Commander, Fire/Arson Investigator, Firefighter, Fire Officer and Instructor. Attended National Fire Academy and Federal Emergency Management Institute courses on Emergency Management and Command. Instructor for New York States Office of Fire Prevention and Control, New York State Emergency Management Office, New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and the Erie County Central Police Academy. Associate degrees in Criminal Justice and Fire Science.
