Bio:
Robert Till is an Associate Professor at John Jay College involved in teaching and research in fire science. He received his PhD. in Fire Protection Engineering from WPI in 2001. His PhD. thesis addressed the evaluation of buildings for fire department intervention. He is a member of the SFPE Fire Department Operations Task Group.

Other research interests include the protection of transport infrastructure projects including road and rail tunnels, bridges and airports. He is special expert member of the NFPA committee responsible for life safety in subways and other passenger rail systems – the NFPA 130 technical committee.
