Getting new volunteers; maintaining training standards to in order to keep skill levels up to standards. We have very few working fires, so training is so important, but difficult to simulate the "real thing."
Professional Qualifications:
30 years as a volunteer FF. Have held ranks from Lt. to A**'t Chief. Have attended numerous training classes over the years.
Topics you provide training for:
All areas of firefighting to include mandatory training topics such as mask confidence, blood borne pathogens, right to know etc.
Areas of expertise:
Good hands on knowledge of all aspects of firefighting. Most experience in engine company ops.
