Began as a vol with area rescue squad at 17 y/o, 1979; joined the vol FD in 1981; worked for ems service, 1982; then worked for FD 1990; worked for South Carolina Fire Academy as a Regional Supervisor over 19 county in the state, 1994; returned to FD 2000 and have served as a Captain/Training Officer and as a Captain/Station Officer, and now Battalion Chief of Fire Training; also have 22 years as a paramedic, 23 years as an adjunct instructor for South Carolina Fire Academy; as SCFA Faculty served on serval commitees with IFSAC and was a certified IFSAC accrediatation team member.
