Bio:
Started my career as a volunteer with the Loveland Community Fire Department in Loveland Ohio which is now the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department as a Fire Cadet in 1982. I was promoted to the rank of Cadet Captain in 1983 and to Cadet Chief in 1985. I achieved the rank of regukar firefighter in 1986. I served with Loveland-Symmes until 1992.

In 1991 I became a member of the Maineville Community Volunteer Fire Company as a volunteer firefighter. I later became a Part time employee with Maineville.

In 1994 Maineville Fire Company was taken over by the Hamilton Township Trustees. I was promoted to the rank of part time Captain in September of that same year. I served in this capacity until 1998 when my position transitioned from part time to career.

In 1996 I accepted a part time position with the Mason-Deerfield Joint Fire District. I later accepted a position as a Fire Lieutenant with them until the department split due to political "differences". I will leave it at that.

After the split I accepted a part time position with Deerfield Township Fire Rescue. I am currently serving as a part time Lieutenant.

In 2001 our department organized under the International Association of Firefighters. I served as Local 4055 president until 2002.

In 2003 I was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief.

June of 2009 I was promoted to Fire Chief of Hamilton Township Fire Rescue.

Even after all these years I still enjoy getting up and going to work. It has been a enjoyable ride and I do not know where it will take me but its been fun.
