4 years as a career firefighter in Montgomery, WV rising to rank of Captain. 24 years as a volunteer firefighter with departments in West Virginia, Ohio, and finally Georgia. While in GA, volunteered for the Islands Division of the Southside Fire Department outside of Savannah. Went up the ladder from firefighter to Chief of the Islands Fire Department. Taught various fire training classes as well as extracation classes. Qualified as a First Responder and certified to teach CPR.
Bio:
After 4 years as a career firefighter I changed professions and went to work for a major Fortune 500 company retiring after 31 years from the Corporate office in marketing. The fire service stayed in my blood and whereever I went with my company I volunteered with the local volunteer fire department. After totally retiring, started our own company specializing in internet sales, web site design, computer training and eBay store set-up and renovation. I am an Education Specialist trained by eBay and teach eBay classes and seminars in Central Florida.
