Bio:: Capt. Joe Hearn is a first generation firefighter in his family. Starting his career in 2002 he later join a department in Dallas, TX after finishing his EMT-Basic, Rookie Fire Academy and receiving a Certificate in Emergency Management. While in Dallas he obtained his Paramedic Certificate at The University of Texas Medical Center, TCFP Driver/Operator Certificate, High and Low Angle Rescue Certificates, Trench and Confine Space Tech Certificate. He also received 3 Outstanding Unit Citations for firefighting and rescue activities within his first year. He has been married to his lovely wife Chelsea for 10 years and has one 8 year old son Maxx. Capt Hearn not only works as a FF/Paramedic but also manages the Fire Suppression System, FD News Letter, TMMTX Fire Department Web Site and the TMMTX Hot Work Program.
