Attended Kirkwood Community College. Took job position as a structural building inspector. Joined Urbandale Fire as a Paid on call memeber while attending Drake. Was offered a position at Ames, accepted and excelled. Joined United States Coast Guard Reserves and a Dammage Controlman.
