Bio:: I am a father of two sons, husband to a great wife, a classical firefighter with 3 jobs, all in the Fire Service. I have been with Galveston Fire Department ( first paid Fire Department in Texas) for 7 years where I promoted to Engineer. Teach with College of the Mainland for 5 years, where I teach the TCFP Fire Academy as well as New Member classes for Volunteer Departments and County Associations. Finally, I also work day crew for the Department that gave me my start in the Fire Service at Forestbend Volunteer Fire Department. I love the Fire Service, and would love to just give back to the service and community we serve. being able to write a blog on Fire engineering would be a great honor and learning experience for all. Training, education, knowledge, experience, none of these should be hidden inside a journal, but rather spread across the world for all to learn from, critique, and share further experiences; a giant cycle of knowledge.
