Change-o-phobia. We teach "progressively" but instead of adopting the better ways of doing things we teach, we tend to dilute them to fit the way we've been doing things for the last 20 or 30 years.
Professional Qualifications:
FF I & II, A. O., Fire Officer 1, Inst. 1, Haz Mat Tech
Areas of expertise:
Areas of interest/passion: Fog Tactics, Rope Rescue
Bio:
Started my fire career in Fort Worth, TX. Served there for a little over three years until my wife got a job offer that was to god to turn down. We moved to Tennessee in late 2002 when I secured a position with Franklin only to find the Codes department had done an excellent job in making the town apparently fire proof.
While I do miss fighting actual fires, it has given me the opportunity to extend my education. I am about a year away from completing my B.S. in Fire Science.
