Bio:
Born in Augusta, Ga 1978. Raised in Ravenswood, Wv located in Jackson Co. Began my career in the fire service as a Junior FF with Silverton Vol. FD in summer of 1992 at the young age of 14. Currently still on roster in Wv with Ripley Fire Department assisting on calls while I visit family back home. Went career in 2002 with Newport News Fire Department. Was accepted to our Technical Rescue Team- 2003, with a subsequent FEMA US&R appointment in 2005. Progressed through FF/Medic to Senior FF/ Medic 2007 and promoted to Lieutenant 2010. Looking forward to furthering my career to Captain in the near future and possibly Battalion Chief towards the end of my career. Wife- Kim, and son- Will, are two of my most notable achievements and honors to date in my life. They are my calm in this storm of life.
