David Piper is a career Lieutenant/ Paramedic with Orland Park Fire Protection District, IL. He also serves his hometown Peotone Fire Protection District part-time as a Battalion Chief and EMS Coordinator. David has been responding to emergencies for 16 years. He is a certified instructor in multiple disciplines including: ACLS, PALS, PEPP, PHTLS, BCLS and State of Illinois Lead Instructor Status. Dave enjoys teaching advanced firefighter classes especially SCBA, R.I.T. and Firefighter III. He has earned the professional classification as a State of Illinois Fire Officer III. David has a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern IL University and Masters of Public Administration degree ffrom Governors State University.
