Mike Reed

I am deeply saddend to hear that Mike Reed slipped into eternity this last Saturday. Mike was a great guy and a wonderful instructor.
I've known him since our Wayne Twp days back in the early 1990's. He had taugh the first Safety Officer Class for us in Jasonville and all of the people loved his wit and attitude.

Our prayers to his family and many friends.
The Indiana Fire Service has lost a jem.

Some of the photos taken during the flood/water crisis are now posted, take a look.

Thanks to all who came to our aid during this eight day crisis. We couldnt have managed an incident as large as this without your assistance.

Special thanks to some of the Fire and EMS personnel who repsonded, Center Twp, Eastern Greene, Owensburg, Bloomfield, Richland-Taylor, Wright Twp, Lewis Twp, Center Point, Switz City, Linton Fire, Indiana State Fire Marshal Greeson, Indiana Fire Chiefs Assoc, IMARP Plan, Indianapolis Firefighters(IFD), Seals Ambulance, Task Force 7 and departments attached to them, plus many others too numerous to mention here.

I know I have most likely left someone out, please do not get offended!

There were many other organizations such as churches from the city and surrounding areas that donated food and volunteered their time to assist.

This event couldnt have been handled efficiently as it was without all of you!
