Dan Pierce has 30 years experience in ARFF. From 1975 to 1980 he spent 4 years in the United States Air Force working ARFF and structural fire suppression as a Fire Protection Specialist at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. When he left the military in 1980, Dan went to work at Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport in Burbank, California providing EMS, ARFF and structural fire suppression services while also conducting facility inspections for the Lockheed Martin Aircraft Company. The Burbank manufacturing facility produced the P3 Orion, S3 Viking and the F117 Nighthawk stealth fighter aircraft. Dan is currently employed by the Los Angeles World Airports.

Dan graduated from San Pedro High School in California and graduated from CSULB with a Bachelors of Science degree in Professional Studies with emphasis in Emergency Services Administration.

Dan is a California State certified Fire Officer I, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Arson Investigator I, Fire Prevention Officer I and Fire Training Instructor. Dan is also certified by the State of California to provide specialized instruction in ARFF (Fire Control 5). The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) also recognizes Dan as a Certified Master Fire-fighter (C.M.F.). Currently, there are only 18 Aircraft Rescue Fire-Fighters that have attained AAAE C.M.F. certification in the entire USA.

Dan is a contributing editor for the Aviation Fire Journal (AFJ). He is on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Aviation Section Board of Directors. He is also a Principal member of the NFPA 410-Standard for Aviation Maintenance & Operations and ARFF Technical Committees. He is a member of the ARFF Working Group (ARFFWG). He is a certificated US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot SEL (Single Engine Land) with Instrument rating.

Dan do you really believe this conspiracy theory? You stated in a blog that you do not accept the NIST finding regarding the collapse of WTC 1&2. You also state that there is empirical evidence which backs this claim as well as information from engineers scientist and the AIA. You stopped posting to this blog right after you were asked to show the evidence. Where did you go?
