Areas of expertise:
I'm still relatively new at this, so I'd have to say my area of expertise is morale. I love the job, and I try my best to get everyone around me to love it just as much.
Bio:
Started as a call firefighter 6 years ago in Acushnet, MA.

3rd generation firefighter, career member of the New Bedford, MA Fire Department from 7/9/06 until laid-off due to budget reductions on 3/1/09.

Appointed to the Cambridge, MA Fire Department Nov. 29, 2009.

Fire Instructor, Support Staff - Barnstable County Fire Training Academy, Hyannis, MA.

Website development for fire service purposes (www.mahmt.com, www.acushnetfire.com). Fire scene/fire apparatus photography. Basically, I'm interested in anything fire service related. I'm a firm believer in the philosophy that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life, and I absolutely love being a fireman. There is no greater job on this planet earth.
