Have 30 years a volunteer part-time firefighter with 20 years as a public educator and juvenile firesetting intervention specialist..'

Have time with 7 departments ranging from rural to busy suburban volunteer.

Have spent the last 20 years as a instructor within my current and past departments, as well as externally at the regional level with emphasis on public education and juvenile firesetting,but have also been active in planning and conducting training in fire response operations.

Recently hired full-time as the training and public education coordinator for Bossier Parish Fire District 1, which is a primarily volunteer combo department with 7 stations handling about 1300 fire/EMS/ Technical rescue incidents per year. We have 5 fulltime personnel and 80 volunteers,
