1-25-09...im not exactly sure how this fire started but it turned into a haz-mat a couple of hours into the incident. 500 gallon storage tank containing old motor oil pressurized and the valve near the bottom popped off and stated leaking the contents of the tank onto the ground. we had made efforts to cool the tank but stopped when the owner told us it was empty the incident was upgraded i think to a third alarm. salisburys haz-mat unit came out...we trenched it off and fault the fire well into the the night
