Where firefighters come to talk training

Live Fire Fighting Training May 2015

NFPA 1403 compliant live firefighting training at Fort Buchanan Fire and Emergency Services training facility. Members from the Army Reserve 266th Ordinance Battalion fire fighters, Puerto Rico Metro Emergency Response Team fire fighters, Cataño Office of Emergency Management Fire / Rescue Division, Guaynabo Office of Emergency Management Fire / Rescue Division, San Juan Office of Emergency Management Fire / Rescue Division and FBFD joined effort for a five hour training session. During this session the Fort Buchanan Fire Department assisted their guests in outgrowing their skills and abilities in regard fire behavior, coordinated ventilation procedures, fire attack, PPE, fire ground organization, drivers operator's skills, ICS and safety. The main objective succeeded, for each organization present acted as one team to accomplish the mission.
