Where firefighters come to talk training

High Angle Rescue Class

Sunday morning training: Fort Buchanan Fire Department personnel offered a 4 hour rope rescue familiarization to EMS, and Army National Guard fire fighters. During the session several subjects were cover such as: rope construction, anchors, hardware, software, different descending devices, and victim pick off. Members had the opportunity to use rope rescue technical equipment like the PETZL ID, and the SCARAB from Conterra.
