May 2013 Okinawa Japan, the 156 Fire and Emergency Services had the great opportunity to train with the best of the best in the United State Air Force; the 18th Civil Engineering Squadron Fire and Emergency Services. This unit, best known by their "excellence in all" achievements as the best F&ES in the PACAF region opened their doors to receive the best ANG F&ES unit in Puerto Rico. During a two week period members worked extensively with the host unit on fire fighting training evolutions or real world emergencies. Each member had the opportunity to train on skills such as: Airfield Familiarization, Vehicle Driving, Vehicle Extrication Aircraft Live Fire, Structural Fire fighting, etc. Besides the proficiency in training, and every day hard work personnel from the 18th CES/CEF showed a great sense of professionalism and most important brotherhood.
