Where firefighters come to talk training

Vehicle Extrication Class

Vehicle extrication class at Fort Buchanan Fire and Emergency Services (FBFD); as an effort to maintain community proficiency the San Juan Municipal Fire / Medics (SJFD) unit provided their instructors, resources, and specialized rescue equipment to provide a 16 hour vehicle extrication class for the Fort Buchanan Fire Department, and Paramedics personnel. During this session various subject in relation to vehicle extrication were covered (airbags, stabilization, trunk tunneling, etc.). In addition, both departments (FBFD, SJFD) are looking forward to continue this joint training venture in order to maintain professional expertise, and community togetherness. To conclude, I'll like to thank Fire / Medics (SJFD) Jose Gonzalez "Gonzo", Luis Rodriguez "Tanke", and Michelin Rivera "Chelo" for their support helping in making this joint training effort possible.
