05/03 ~ Around 1545 Denver Firefighters were alerted to 1415 West Nevada Place for a reported structure fire. First arriving Chief 7 found a two story single family dwelling with smoke showing from the second floor. Tower 23 arrived and made entry for the primary search while Engines 11 & 20 established water supplies and stretched inside. The fire was quickly located and knocked down. All companies were held for about 20 minutes overhauling, all searches proved negative and no injuries were reported. About an hour earlier companies also responded to the alley behind the 900 blk of Hooker for a fully involved garage with exposures. Investigators were called to both scenes.
