5280fire.com West Metro CO vehicle fire 4/30

4/30 ~ Around 1400, West Metro Firefighters responded to a reported car fire threatening exposures at 13665 West Center Drive in Lakewood. Engine 4 laid in and found a vehicle with heavy fire in the driveway. Engine 3 arrived and provided extra foam supply. Companies prevented any damage to exposures and quickly knocked the fire. Denver Water responded to check the drainage for fuel that may have went down into the gutters. No injures were reported and the fire is under investigation.
