04/27 ~ At 1554 South Metro Firefighters were alerted to reports of a structure fire with a person trapped on Tim Tam Way in Parker. First due Squrt 41 found a two story single family with brown smoke showing from the 2nd floor. The crew from 41 advanced a line and made entry. Next in Engine 47 laid in to the Squrt and made entry to assist with search and rescue. As crews were searching the interior, Training 32 acting as Safety located the unconscious victim just inside the door on the Charlie side. In heavy smoke conditions the victim was safely removed and immediately transported by South Metro Paramedics. Meanwhile, Quint 45 performed vertical ventilation and a second floor fire was quickly knocked down. All other searches proved negative with limited extension inside the structure.
