04/22 ~ Westminster Firefighters were alerted to an unknown fire behind the WalMart at 9400 Sheridan Blvd. Multiple callers reported heavy smoke and possible explosions from a dumpster or trailer. Companies arrived to find a flat bed trailer with a full load of cardboard well involved. Several lines were pulled for initial knock down, then forklifts were used to offload the material for overhaul. Crews worked the scene for about an hour, no injuries were reported and no extension to the building occurred. Mike Melton Photos
