04/21 ~ At 1123 West Metro Firefighters were alerted to a confirmed structure fire at 7834 South Cody. Upon arrival, Engine 14 reported flames showing from the delta side of the structure and Bureau 3 on scene effecting the rescue of an elderly female. Engine 14 pulled a line for fast attack, Engine 13 laid in and completed the water supply. A second line was placed into operation and Tower 14 conducted positive pressure ventilation. The fire was quickly knocked, all searches proved negative and the occupant was evaluated on scene by West Metro Paramedics. Rick Luebke Photos
