Bio:: Chief Tracy a Battalion Chief with the FDNY, currently assigned to Battalion 49, in the Borough of Queens, with 31 years of service. He is an adjunct instructor for their training academy having developed many training programs for Firefigthters, First Line Supervisors and Chief Officers. He has published articles in WNYF, FDNY’s training publication, and Fire Engineering magazine. He offers programs of training for the fire service. In collaboration with NIST Chief Tracy is involved in the most recent research being conducted on High Rise Firefighting. He is a member of the NFPA Project Technical Panel that is reviewing “Firefighting Tactics under Wind Driven Conditions”.

Where can i get something in writing about the recommended flow rate for today's fires being at least 150gpm? This is for justification reasons, so it needs to be a non-bias type document. If you can help let me know.

I translated your High Rise articles in Fire Engineering for publication in the Spanish fire fighters assiciation magazine, FUEGO, several years back. While we don't have 60 + story moles here, Spain does have Nº's 1 and 15 in the listing of hi rise buildings to population around the world; Benidorm and Valladolid. I have used some of you considerations in training here, all very positive.
