    definitely understand about the radio confusion.  While i fortunately have not had to do this in a real situation and our dept has not adopted this three frequency procedure yet, i was very pleased with the outcomes during our simulated drills.  In the chaotic initial moments of a mayday, it is of the utmost importance to keep one's head together, but the heads of everyone else may be a different story thus the radio channelo confusion.   We are going to explore it further and see how it goes and hopefully never need it.  One thig is 4 certain, if u do not control the communications, it is tough to control your people  be safe and thanx 4 the feedback
